Grant R. Simons, MD, Director, Cardiac Electrophysiology Services: After graduating from Duke University Medical School, Dr. Simons completed his internship and residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to joining the staff at Englewood Hospital and School of Medicine, Dr. Simons was affiliated with several prestigious hospitals in Washington DC, Maryland, and Massachusetts and enjoyed a private practice in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology in the Maryland, Washington, DC area.
Dr. Simons is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He was a Clinical Fellow in Medicine at Harvard University and is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. In addition to past memberships in the American College of Physicians and The American Medical Association, Dr. Simons is currently a Member of the Heart Rhythm Society and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. An active participant in multicenter research projects, Dr. Simons has published and lectured extensively in the field of Cardiology. His earned honors include The Young Investigator Travel Award from the Council on Thrombosis, AHA, and the Excellence in Clinical Teaching Award from Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
David Y. Feigenblum, MD, PhD, Director, Cardiac Electrophysiology Laboratory: David Y. Feigenblum earned both his MD and PhD in medicine at New York University School of Medicine, and his Fellowship in Cardiology and in Cardiac Electrophysiology at New York University Medical Center. Dr. Feigenblum is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine.
An active participant in cardiac multicenter research, Dr. Feigenblum has published extensively in both scientific and medical journals. A Member of the Heart Rhythm Society and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Feigenblum earned the title of NYU Cardiology Fellow for the year 2000-2001.
Dmitry Nemirovsky, MD: Dmitry Nemirovsky is a Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist practicing at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. Graduating from Vanderbilt School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee with multiple honors, including the Albert Weinstein Prize in Medicine and the designation of top graduating medical student entering the field of Internal Medicine, Dr. Nemirovsky completed his internship and residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He went on to earn a Fellowship in General Cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center’s Cardiovascular Institute, and a Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Weill Cornell University Medical Center.
During the past ten years, Dr. Nemirovsky has published extensively in recognized scientific journals and has been an invited guest speaker on cutting-edge cardiology at prestigious medical conferences nationwide. In addition to being a Member of the Heart Rhythm Society and the American College of Cardiology, he is actively involved in medical curriculum development and teaching.
