Grant R. Simons, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Chief of Cardiac Electrophysiology

After graduating from Duke University Medical School, Dr. Simons completed his internship and residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts.  Prior to joining the staff at Englewood Hospital and School of Medicine, Dr. Simons was affiliated with several prestigious hospitals in Washington DC, Maryland, and Massachusetts and enjoyed a private practice in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology in the Maryland, Washington, DC area.
 
Dr. Simons is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He was a Clinical Fellow in Medicine at Harvard University and is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. In addition to past memberships in the American College of Physicians and The American Medical Association, Dr. Simons is currently a Member of the Heart Rhythm Society and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. An active participant in multicenter research projects, Dr. Simons has published and lectured extensively in the field of Cardiology. His earned honors include The Young Investigator Travel Award from the Council on Thrombosis, AHA, and the Excellence in Clinical Teaching Award from Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.  

In addition to heading up Englewood’s Cardiac Electrophysiology Department, Dr. Simons is currently a staff member of Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York and Palisades Hospital in North Bergen, New Jersey.
